CTET Eligibility for Paper I to V (Primary Stage)

1. 12th (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
2. 12th (as well as equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed and appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 Norms OR
3. 12th (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or
4. 12th (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)OR
5. Graduation with 50% marks and 1 Year B.Ed Examination OR
6. Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

CTET Eligibility for Paper VI TO VII (SECONDARY STAGE)

1. Bachelor’s degree and completion or enrollment in the last year of a two-year diploma in basic education (by whatever name it is recognized). OR
2. Graduation with at least 50% grades and passing or enrolling in a 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program. OR
3. Graduation with at least 45% grades and passing or enrolling in a 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program in compliance with NCTE standards. OR
4. Senior Secondary (or similar) with at least 50% marks and passed or is enrolled in the last year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education program (B.El.Ed). OR
5. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in the last year of a four-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed program. OR
6. Graduation with at least 50% and passing or enrolling in a 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education) program.
